Dear Eldmir firekeepers,

We are happy to announce that we’re selling. It’s going to take at least six months, and you won’t be affected. We wanted you to hear it from us first. In simple terms, with legalese to follow:

• Existing Eldmir customers retain their terms & agreements and/or licensing deals indefinitely.

• Company Death clause: In the rare scenario that the software does not receive updates within six months from this announcement, your license to the underlying code shall be changed to a permissive license such as a variant of GPL, with cloud limitations. You will get a separate email about this.

• The updates, including safety and behavior, shall continue as normal.

We will be announcing more after the due diligence phase of the deal. We have the runway for multiple years and are doing this willingly.
